Is the B18 passé? 444-544

It seems every time I talk about the pending rebuilds both on my 544 and 122's B18's, the reaction I get is "...why aren't ya doin' a B20?" Admittedly my knowledge is limited to straightforward work on the engines and hearsay. For example, I hear the B18 is a little more fun to rev. Also I haven't looked into whether a B20 requires more wiring and other joyous changes. The only thing I do know is I love my B18 and I like watching the resident 145's B20 shoot fireballs out of its always-moody carburetor.

The engines are getting gone-through either way. If I give in, will a B20 just knock my socks off? What are some advantages to stock 95 horsepower B18s?
