Front Brake work

So, the brakes need to be done... it's cold and i was wondering what anyone knew about doing this... they've been replaced once, with anti-seaze all in the right places... but, what's the best way to go about it? Heat on the caliper?... kroil on the fitting?... all of the above? what do i have to watch out for?
