Occasional stalling '91 940SE (turbo) 900 1991

Hi All,

Trying to sort out a very occasional stalling issue. Main facts are (might be irrelevant):
-always on decel, never at speed or accel
-I've recently noticed that sometimes when I take my foot off of the gas, the tach drops very fast, instead of gradually, and then bounces back.
-I've cleaned many grounds and connectors in the engine bay, but none have fixed the problem
-when the engine is stone cold, the warning lights (like the service light) can be very faint.
-when the engine is cold it seems sluggish, and will even decelerate when coasting dow a steep hill
-mileage (mpg) seems to be less than usual
-can't reproduce the problem sudden decel, or by manipulating the crank position sensor wire

Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions and advice,
Bill
