Swapping steering wheels ... bowtie to early style ... help 120-130 1968

My '68 currently has the correct bow-tie style steering wheel on it, but i would like to switch to the earlier style (1959-1967, retro-looking).

The only parts I have for the retro looking streering wheel is the clack wheel itself and the chrome horn ring.

What other parts will I need to do the swap? From what i can tell from my parts manual, I need a couple of lock washers and the scews to mount the horn ring?

Has anyone ever tried this? Any hints or tips?

Thanks in advance!
