Exhaust manifold leak suspected 900 1994

Hello all,
Chasing down a noise that sounds like a manifold gasket leak, most pronounced when accelerating from idle. Question is how likely is it that all the manifold bolts will come loose without breaking? I did this once before on an 83 turbo and two of the studs broke, one was already broken, someone had glued a broken stud in place. So not to repeat history, would like some tips and or tricks to get this thing apart without breaking stuff.
Thanks.
