UPDATE ON MY PROJECT. SHE HAS A NEW PAINT JOB, WENT WITH ORIGINAL GRAPHITE GREY. RUNNING INTO SOME ISSUES NOW. THE GUY THAT IS WORKING ON MY CAR DOES HAVE SEVERAL YRS EXPERIENCE RESTORING VINTAGE TRUCKS, DELIVERY VANS AND SUCH. BUT REPLACING THIS FRONT WINDSHEILD WITH THE GASKET HAS BEEN A CHALLENGE AND HAS YET TO BE INSTALLED. I HAVE GIVEN HIM SOME VERY GOOD INSTRUCTIONS (I GOT THEM FROM THIS SITE.... THANK YOU VERY MUCH) FIRST I DON'T SEE HOW HE WAS ABLE TO GET THE GASKET ON THE WINDOW IN THE FIRST PLACE. MY BROTHER AND I ATTEMPTED A HALF HOURS STRUGGELING AND DIDNT ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING. THIS GUY DID GET ABOUT THREE QUARTERS OF THE WINDOW IN PLACE BUT ONE CORNER WEDGED OUT. HE SEEMS RELUCTENT TO USE A CORD INSIDE THE BODY GROOVE. ALL THE PEOPLE I HAVE TALKED WITH SAID THIS IS THE WAY IT IS DONE... ANY SUGGESTIONS. THANKS!!!!!
