Wiring path for Back-up lights 200

Well, today I figured out why the reverse lights on the '90 240 weren't working when about 18 inches of the wiring to them, from the switch on the gearbox, fell out the bottom of the car. It was clear that there had been at least one poorly-done repair in the past. Is anyone able to give me a good description of the path those two wires take from the firewall to the switch so I can splice in new wiring?

Stick shift, BTW.

Much appreciated,
--EdM.
