Leaking rack- long distance trip imperative; what to do?

Where's the rack leaking from? If it is leaking into the boots or the input shaft, that's one thing. If it is leaking from the hard lines but is otherwise functional, the lines are replaceable. They are available as spares, and others here have described making their own with a flare tool.

Otherwise, the power steering pump is on its own belt, so pulling the belt would be an option.
