installing oil pressure and temp gauges on B230FT

VDO made the OEM sender for Volvo. It is a two terminal sender. You can still get it from Egauges. You will need the Sunpro adapter kit CP7573 to install it on the B230 block in the original OP switch location. You will be able to hook up the gauge and idiot light to the sender.

As to the oil temp sender... I know only of the OEM oil pan sender being the easiest to install. You can get an aftermarket sender but you will have to drill and tap the side of the oil pan to install it. The OEM sender is really hard to find but you can get the gauges real cheap because no one usually has the sender to go with it.

I have had both of these gauges in my prev. DD '88 244GL and now put a set in my '89 745TI+ M46 and I like having them.

Shameless plug: I do have an oil temp kit w/ OEM sender for sale in either C or F for 240 (52mm) or 740 up to '90 RH side in F. with sender. If you have a 740 turbo; you would have to give up your boost gauge or use an A pillar pod w/ the 52mm.
