Removing 242 back seat interior side panel 200 1979

I'd like to remove the back seat side panels, and I can't figure out how to get them off. Any ideas from 242 owners out there? The arm rests don't seem to be integral to the panel, unless they slide off in some secret way. Ultimately, I'm trying to access the small plastic keepers that retain the exterior lateral line trim pieces. I've got rust starting underneath and need to get that trim off. Thanks for the help! Bryan
