B20 starter amp question? 120-130

since no one bit yet.

Most starters draw between 200 and 400 amps. A 4 gauge wire should be fine. Our 500" 13:1 compression race car never even blinked with a 2 gauge wire. We used quality wire from our welding store with good rubber coating. I also ran a 4 gauge ground all the way to the motor, and grounded to the chassis in the front and rear. Like I said, never a bit of trouble in many years of operation.
