Keyless Entry for a 740 - Anyone done this?

Hi Bricksters,

I'm looking to install keyless entry in my 740. It already has the central locking system.

Yes I have read the FAQ write up about this but there seems to be a few things missing. In any case, I'm looking for some really detailed instructions that would supplement the method outlined in there.

From the write up it looks like I need the power door lock motor from the rear driver's side door (with wiring harness) and the linkage from the front passenger side door which I should be able to find at my local Pick N Pull.

Presumably the linkage from the passenger side door will connect the new motor to the central lock on the driver's side door. From the FAQ pics, it looks like the motor will bolt onto the front door. After this I'm confused.

1) How and where do I connect the linkage from the new motor to the existing central lock system? Perhaps it will be obvious once I get in there.

2) Assuming I get power to the new motor, what remote device am I supposed to use to actuate it? Do I buy an aftermarket device that somehow hooks up to the wires on the new motor? I don't think this part was covered in the FAQ unless I missed it.

Anywho, if anyone has done this successfully, I would really appreciate their guidance.
