no luck w/ cleaning stuff 700 1991

As others have mentioned there are a few items with a high failure rate on your vehicle. The fuel pressure relay is behind your ashtray, $20, and 15 minutes to replace. The RSR relay, 20$, 10 minutes. The Crank position sensor, 20$ and 30 minutes. So for 60$ and 1 hr time you can eliminate the 3 most likely offendors. How many miles do you have on your current fuel pump? If the problem persists after replacing said items, fuel pump is suspect. That is assuming you have cleaned BOTH sets of grounds on fuel rail and the one behind the battery and the one below the power steering pump. You should also check the condition of the distributor, as I have read on high mileage vehicles as yours the innards wearing to the point where the rotor can become loose and wobbly causing intermitent contact. And finally you can go to a junk yard and pick up a spare coil apparatus($40) and swap that to see if it makes a difference.
Matt
