Brickboard use question

What is the purpose of the "copy, paste anywhere" link window on all the messages?

Nobody knows...

Joking here, but judging by how little I see it used, it can't be much of an exaggeration.

The idea is you see it highlighted (selected) when you mouse over it. That makes it ready for your copy/paste clipboard. Just copy it, and paste anywhere. The anywhere is true for any place html code is used, but for most of our uses, it is this message box we are typing in, to reply to a post. It shows up as a clickable link, like this:
