Re-introduction and a dumb question 444-544

Little rusty here - sorry for the false start.

I've been working on a '65 PV544 for much too long. I purchased the car around 2000; it was disassembled & needed everything. I replaced all the floors, had it painted, rebuilt the suspension & installed sway bars, rebuilt the brakes, installed a rebuilt B-20 pulled from a '75 240, installed an (M-41?) O/D transmission. Then I got bogged down trying to install an aftermarket A/C & lost steam on the project, but recently I picked up the ball again.

Last week I jury-rigged the ignition black box and gave the starter a spin. To my surprise it started right up, so now I'm gaining a little momentum. I've been working out the details on rewiring everything under the hood & dash, installing a new fuse box and relays for headlights, A/C compressor, radiator fans, and the O/D. I'm also making brackets to support fuel & freon hoses, receiver/dryer, and cruise control servo. I still have a long way to go but I feel I'm making progress.

Here is my stupid question: what is the recommended lubricant to use in an O/D transmission. Mine is the earlier model, I believe it is known as a D-Type. I went through the oil system on it, replacing all the seals & O-rings. I used to know what to use but it has been so long I can't remember.

I hope to be a regular contributor again - if I could only figure out how to get a new password! Thanks in advance for your advice.
