Finding a broken, bent and burnt rotor would get my attention as well. The distributor is probably at the heart of the problem. That's where I'd start too, especially if the new Bosch coil, points and condenser didn't help. It's probably possessed. Was it ever stored in a haunted garage? Do you have a priest nearby who is not under indictment? If I were you I would take it out and drive a wooden stake through it.
