So happy with my 740! 700

William, thanks for your suggestion. New plugs, distributor, and rotor are on the short list. The plugs in the car look fresh, and the air filter is brand spanking new. Must have been replaced just before I bought it.

Cheapskate, I simply bought a big roll of vacuum tubing and just went crazy under the hood, replacing every vacuum line I could find, including the cruise control lines. I must have guessed correctly which vacuum motor nipple to attach the line to, as there are two to choose from. Anyway, make sure the lines at the tee are TIGHT, as any vacuum loss will disable the cruise control. Good luck and let us know how you do. Don't worry about the hijack, it was just a sunshine thread anyway! :-)
