After driving, no start until I wait about 30 minutes... 200

Hi there,

My '89 240 is acting up again. It has 157k and runs strong. Just had a new alternator installed a month ago. A week ago I drove it for 20 minutes, parked it and when I returned 15 minutes later, NO START!! All dash lights/interior lights went on and I heard a little click when each time I turned the key. I waited about 30 minutes and it started and hasn't acted up all week as I was driving around town.

It happened for the second time today. Again, same thing. I drove it for 20 minutes, parked it for about 10 minutes and no start ( but all dash/interior lights on and click sound after turning the key). I waited 30 minutes or so and it started up and has been fine all day after starting and stopping another 6 or 7 times with no problem. It currently is running and starting okay, I jsut don't know when it will behave like this again.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
Bek
