no heat in car 900 1993

I have been working on getting a 93 940 back on the road. I bought the car with a bad engine.
The new engine is in and running very good, but I dont have any heat inside the car. If I have the temp comtrol on cold when I start the car one of the heater hoses will get warm as the car heats up. If I turn the control to hot, both heater hoses will get hot. This tells me that I have flow through the heater core.
The control for the defrost, dash vents, and heat is working like it should; and the blower control is working ok.
Is there another valve inside the car, or another door that shuts off the heat?
