car started idling funny, and now wont stay running... 200 1985

car is a stock 85 volvo 240 with a b230, m46, and a b cam

i could use your help again...

my car started idling a little bit funny, and then it died...

it ran fine on the freeway, on the way back to work... about 10 miles in, 5 miles to the site, and 5 miles back

but as soon as i got off the freeway, it started idling noticeably different (its hard to describe, but it sounded different)

when i got back to the gate, it died, i was able to pull it in, by reving it, and babying the clutch

the car will start fine, and there doesnt seem to be any drain on the battery, it will crank over, it just wont stay running... it will idle for a second then die off

i pulled the maf sensor, and it started, and idled at 2500 rpm, but seemed solid just sitting there...

i did reseat the lh fuse, the pushed the other end further on the junction block...

the timing belt still seems tight as do all the other belts

the grounds all seem good, and tight

i did fill up the gas tank last night (put in 11 gallons, so i wasnt completely empty)

i could use any and all help or ideas people have to offer, as this is my work vehicle, and i am supposed to use it on a daily basis...
