help! disconnected wire somewhere - instr. lights / clock 200 1983

Thought I'd slip a "new" big clock in, thought it would be an easy job... Hooked the battery back up, and the clock is not ticking and there are no instrument lights. The only loose wire I see is a big white one, but it's a female connecter and there's another female connector on the back of the instr. panel under the corner of the clock. I cannot see what must have come loose, and sure don't want to blow something out.

thanks
Joy
