Well I have been in Basic Training for the last 6 months, but I am back now and trying again to get the volvo on the road. I had another thread that I was trying to add this to but could not figure out how to reply, it was on Read Only.

Well I was working on taking the fuel tank out and relining the inside. As I was wire brushing around the screws that hold it into the trunk, I noticed a rust spot towards the front of the tank. Well that spot turned into a 50 cent piece sized hole with alot of the rust falling straight into the tank. Damn! Well I am now in the hunt for a new tank if anyone has any.

I am thinking that if I cannot find one or find one that will work, I am going to close that hole in the trunk floor and place some sort of fuel cell into the car. Although I do have a few different aluminum boat tanks that could possibly work in the trunk floor.

Has anyone else used a tank from another car? Does anyone know of any that are for sale? Has anyone used a tank other than the one that came in the car? etc.
