Help me decide on a 140! 140-160

Two ideas: don't neglect your preference for little things like small differences in body style, color, etc. You are buying this because you want one, might as well have the one that you really like.

People will tell you to spend the money and get the fixed up one, but I would go with the other one unless you really know the person who did the fixing. Doing you own fixing is almost always more $, but then you can have it done right.

I was very lucky to find a '67 with 64K miles for $500, but it needed plenty of work and $ to get it to DD level.
