I never saw any slippage to begin with. The alternator pulley always appeared to be turning at the same rate as the drive belt. No, I do not have a calibrated eye, but I am confidant about what I witnessed.

So, with that said, as you stated before, mark it, put a timing light on it and reference the main crank timing mark and do a ratio mark to the alternator? i.e. one rev of the motor to say 2 or 3 revs of the alternator depending on pulley size?
