1994/940-Turbo/190K-NoisyNewFuelPump? 900

I recently had the fuel pump changed on my 1994 Turbo Wagon. This was on the advice of the dealer because the pump was making a strange high pitched whirring/grinding sound (and I was having intermittent starting problems -- no-start problem eventually turned out to be ignition -- the power stage unit. This little multi-hundred-dollar vignette late last year was one reason I decided to try and do more for myself).

Now, with the new pump, intermittently I'm getting exactly the same sound coming from underneath the car -- I'm fairly sure it is the fuel pump. I notice it most at idle. However -- there are no other symptoms -- car is perfectly driveable and performs fine. Anyone care to comment on this?
