I found my deep seated problem 120-130 1967

And perhaps I am sitting upside down.

When I installed the PCV valve, I had no idea which side was up. There is no dummy arrow, just writing on the valve. Well, it works much better if the writing is right side up!!!!!

I turned it the correct way and took a short drive down the local highway. I drove it properly, like a mad man. 60 mph was my top speed, the headlights are not as bright as I would like them, and rowed mightely through the gears. Fun!

The result: Not a drop of oil around the dipstick. It is too dark to inspect the weep hole at the rear main seal (which does need replacing anyway).

It is a good thing I don't charge for my advice on the FWD side of the BB. I feel I would have to give all of the pennies back after this really dumb screw up!!

I will deduct 2 beers from my ration,

Klaus
