End of an era...sort of

Well ....I have supposedly sold my 1992 960 wagon; although the guy hasn't given me any money yet, and I still have the car. Bought the car in June of '08 and cleaned it up, installed all new lenses on all 4 corners, the PO had broken them all with her inability to park or corner. The car is great, no rust, sun roof, power everything, white with black leather, added a 6-disc CD changer, a dog barrier, factory roof rack....etc. Currently the only thing wrong is the A/C is out. In September, on my 27th wedding anniversary, 300 miles from home the timing belt broke and crashed the head. Long story short, I was able to fix it with the invaluable help of this forum and parts from E-bay. I got the car running and then started to have issues with it randomly dying; again the Brickboard to the rescue. I re-soldered the wiring harness, replaced the "radio" suppression relays and finally the crank sensor. It has been running flawlessly since then. I really hate to let it go, but my wife is just too fearful of it to ever drive it again. I am really having seller's remorse. I suppose it is some consolation that we have 3 other 740's in the family. One we paid just under $800.00 7 years ago and it still is running strong with almost 300,000 on the clock with minimal maintence.
Thanks for being there when I needed help.
