UPdate ...please help

Well, it was working ..so at least I know the compressor is good.

She just drove back up and it had stopped again. The fan on the radiator took a LONGGGGG time to stop, but the car is fine as far as temp.

OK ...UPDATE....(and I hope someone catches this that can help)

I changed out the dash module, and initially it did the same thing. The radiator fan would come on, and the clutch on the compressor would try to engage - like catch and jump but let loose.

After a spell the compressor started up and ran perfect ...very cold air. After running for a spell and shutting the engine down, I noted that the sound of moving freon under the hood kept going for quite a spell, like it was moving past a valve, or balancing high & low sides (really just guessing).

Is this an indicator? Please help if you can.

Thank you.
