Is anyone familiar with the front seat mechanism that manages the back of the driver/passenger seat, in moving forward or rearward, as well as the stop that is built into the hinge? My passenger seat is difficult to move forward, and is crooked. I have managed to split the back from the bottom, and have found a loose screw that appears to be used as a stop in the hinge. The looseness allowed the stem of the 'stop' to be wedged outside of it's control parameter, and allowed one side of the chair to be two gear teeth off from the opposing hinge creating a back seat that is slanted and no fun to sit in. I would love to know exactly how the screw/position pin is supposed to be. Of course, I can yank the driver's seat and reference its stop screw, but I thought maybe someone out there has had some experience with this problem. Heck, I don't even need to remove the drivers seat, just the center console to access the working stop screw/pin. I love this car, much fun to drive. But it has become my Wife's commute car, and I want to get it back to her, as I tend to drive like a testosterone fueled turbo head madman behind the wheel, and as much fun as that is, I would like to save the car from my excessive heavy foot. thanks in advance for any help (except psychological, please!)
