i was looking at the truck latch in may 86 240 and it appears to have some electrical equipment attached directly behind the outer mechanical trunk key apparatus and some wires are directly coming from it. I checked to see if i were confusing those wires with truck light. Do you know if that equipment is for an remote trunk button. Have you notice this.
