Driveshaft removal with overdrive 120-130 1967

First, I want to thank "Riverbend" for putting my wagon up in the air with his new toy. All garages should be equipt with a lift :)

I am going to replace the rear main seal, the center carrier, and a forward CV joint. BUT, how does one get the shaft out of there? I do have a J type overdrive attached to the rear of the transmission, so there is very little room to work with.

Obviously, the forward section of the shaft comes out. Is there a trick that I should know about? Seems there is very little wiggle room with the OD taking up so much space.
