Burnt smell coming from front brake caliper 200 1992

I swear that when it comes to the 240, when it rains, it sometimes pours:

Ok, so there's this smell of something burnt that's coming from the right side brake caliper. I first noticed it like a week ago when I was having funny noises coming from the swaybar endlink on the same side. I took that wheel off and the source of the smell was obvious with a quick sniff.

Anyone have a clue what might be causing it?

The Mintex pads (about 18,000kms so far from new) look like they have some more life left in them.

Braking action seems to be fine as well, but the smell is obvious whenever I park the car this week.

Thanks

Lucast
