No high beams - fixed (bad ground) 200 1993

Just put a 93 on the road. Had no high beams. Turned out to be a bad ground. I went through as follows:

1. With lights on no relay click.
2. No passing flash but relay clicked with lights off.
3. pulled relay and cleaned contacts in and out.
4. Checked bulbs - all OK.
5. Swapped stalk switch with another one.
6. After fussing around I now had high beams but no low.

Noticed with the cowl cover off that the screw that anchors the self-canceling turn-signal mechanism was loose and the screw missing. This screw holds a ground wire to the column frame. Reattached and everything now fine.

(note that on a 93 the headlight relay is on the pass-side fender behind the expansion tank)
