960 undercarriage rattle 900 1996

My '96 960 has an undercarriage rattle that I cannot isolate. It sounds as if it's coming from under the left side in front of the footwell. I've replaced the LCA & bushings, strut, strut bearing, ball joint & swaybar link. It sounds just like a loose bushing bolt, but I've doublechecked them all. The pitch of the noise is low, like thumping on the bottom of the car with a wooden club. The noise occurs when going over a bump or sometimes just after a bump when you wouldn't expect a noise. Any ideas of where else to check?
