Sigh. My '86 wagon has cancer. 200

I was investigating some water pooled in the under-floor storage hatch on my wagon this evening, and couldn't figure out where it might be coming from. Then I noticed rust flakes up under the lower hatch sill. I bent over for a closer look, and sure enough... there's pretty extensive rust all along what looks like the pinch seam under the sill. There's at least 1 small hole, and a lot of general crustiness. It's also visible from the outside, albeit looking up from underneath.

Seems a shame, since the rest of the car is so pristine and has been in Oklahoma all its life. Is this a common issue, and is there a patch available?
