1987 760 Turbo Issues with idle and heat 700 1987

I've just replaced the Idle Air control valve on my 760 which fixed the problem (The car wouldn't idle at all). Now it idles, but in park or nuetral it idles rather high (at about 2500 rpms) and it's running a bit high in gear, although not quite as high (1200rpm). When it tap the accelerator, the rpms dip back down to about 900 but immediately go back up again.

There also appears to be a belt that's somewhat loose, there is a rattling noise in the engine, which, honestly, might be this belt, and the turbocharger is to be heating up a lot more than it should.

I replaced the "j" hose connected to the turbo, which had a leak, but the problem persists.
I replaced the spark plugs but the problem persists.

I haven't been able to find any other vacuum leaks. The problem could be in the air flow meter, but it seems unlikely.

Can anyone help me out here?
