They were checking the little plate on the inner fender - which matched the plate on the pedal box.

I directed them to check the stamped number on the fresh-air intake and it was successfully matched to the title.

WHEW!!

Weirdly, the fender plate was run and it identified the car as a Non-USA imported model... weird maybe it was Canada or European. I kinda wish I had known that when I owned it. ...Or maybe that's normal... it is Swedish after all.
