Automatic door lock intermittent and clicking under dash 200

On a 1989 245. I couldn't find anything on this while searching. The automatic door lock (pulling or pushing the driver door lock up or down should unlock or lock all doors in the car) is working intermittently. In addition there will be some clicking heard under the dash which I suspect is a relay. The clicking can be heard randomly while driving without even touching the driver's side lock.

Is this a relay problem? If so, does anyone know which relay(s) to replace and where they are located?

Or is something shorting out while driving that I should look at causing the relay to fire randomly?

Thank you!
