Strange Noises from Car when Accelerating 200 1992

Guys,

This is difficult to describe but when I accelerate from a stop sign, I get some vibration and noises coming from the vehicle. It sounds metallic and it gets quicker and quicker as I accelerate. Sometimes it sounds like a couple of marbles rolling around in a coffee can. Other times it sorta sounds like something is rotating and making a noise. My son described it as a metalic "ting"..."ting"..."ting" noise. Eventually it gets so fast that it turns into a humming noise or just kinda goes away.

So, this evening I'll be looking at the car trying to eliminate things.

Here's some thoughts I have.

1. Could this be the rear wheel bearings going bad?
2. Could this be a u-joint on the driveshaft going bad?
3. Driveshaft center support bearing?
4. Could this be a stuck rear brake calliper?

Any suggestions for what I should look at and how to check if items like a bad u-joint, wheel bearing, or center support bearing?

Thanks,

Tom
