wet weather 200 1989

hi

i have a 1989 240 volvo with a b230f engine. everything is in great working order, except when it rains.

Something on this car is getting wet and the engine stalls out or runs like crap. idling really rough but for the most part stays running until you depress the gas and it gets all chocked up and stalls. even if i've been running it on the highway for an hour when i get off in wet weather and come to the first stop sign there is a good chance she'll stall out and i'll get stuck in the middle of the intersection. hard to get started again.

here's the lowdown

2yr (60,000 km) old bougicord ignition wires
2yr (60,000 km) old Bosch distributor cap and rotor (contacts have a little scorching but not terrible)
1 month old (1,000)km old Bosch ignition coil

Can anyone tell me where are the usual wet weather suspect or culprits on these cars ?
