Will RI issue a title if you can show them a bill of sale from the previous owner? - or what "appears" to be a BoS from the previous owner? (wink-wink) I live in GA and I believe that's how they solve that problem here. I moved here from CA in '91 and brought a 66 Jeep and 72 Volvo with me. I was shocked when they said I didn't need a title to register a car in GA if it was over 10 years old. It cost me a few bucks more to transfer the titles but I did it thinking it would be easier to sell the cars later if I possessed the titles.

You may need to do an interim registration in a state that will issue a title, then take it to NV.
