quick rotor question 200 1989

Thought you were measuring from the center contact down thru the carbon button, thru the rotor and out on a plug wire. But you have raised a question I never thought about. I always assumed the rotor was just a conductor, nothing else. It may well be there is a built in resistance. Others may know or be willing to measure theirs. Depending on convenience and how friendly the local dealer is you could measure a new one at their counter.
