WARM START PROBLEM 544 444-544

I have a 1960 544 with b16b engine and stock 6volt electricals. When I drive the car and shut it down, it won't start back up again until i push the car a few feet. When it doesn't start I turn the key and there is no crank, just a click sound as if it's totally dead. If I push the car forwards or backwards a few feet and try to start again it will 99.9% of the time start up as if there was never a problem.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
