Water pump question 444-544

I just got the engine running on my '58 pv444 (B16) and saw a fine spray of coolant/water flying from the water pump and this soon turned into a flow of water coming from the pump. So I know it's kaput. When I was looking at at the prices for new water pumps, I saw a small rubber hose called a "pump to housing hose". Is this something I'm going to need also? And one final question. I also saw that there is one bolt head missing from the pump. (The 10 o'clock bolt facing the front) I guess someone tried to remove the pump in the past and that bolt head snapped flush with the pump housing. I'll try and use some penetrating oil on the bolt to get it out of the block once I remove the pump. If I can't will it be ok to fasten this pump with the three remaining bolts?
