940 with Regina ignition stalls suddenly 900 1993

Hi, I have a 1993 945 with 219,000 miles on it. It is well-maintained (by me) and is consistently getting 23-25 mpg. It has a Regina ignition/fuel system. The plugs, cap, rotor are in good shape. Plug wires are Volvo (Bugicord?), but I am not sure how old they are. They look good - no cracks, etc. I have replaced the crank position sensor last year when I had intermittent hard starting. I have also cleaned the contacts on the power stage of the coil. The car runs real well, but every now and again for no apparent reason at all the engine will die. When that happens I am always able to re-start it after a few minutes and all is well again until the next incident. I have read about the fuel pump relay and possibly the fuel pump itself. I have no evidence of the original fuel pump being replaced. I got the car from a person who kept good records and I did not see a fuel pump in those records, so it is entirely possible that the fuel pump is original. Is it time to replace it at 219K miles? Should I start with simpler stuff like FP realy, contact cleaning, etc? What about fuel pressure regulator? Any and all help would be appreciated. This is my wife's kids and grocery hauler. I would hate for her to get into a dangerous situation due to this condition.
