Late upshift, automatic xmission 700

Hey all.

Searched the FAQ, didn't come up with anything solid.

'87 745 turbo, 4spd automatic, daily driver, right about 130,000 miles.

Same problem I had with the same year/config 765 before my son totalled it.

I find that I have to back my foot off the accelerator pedal or she'll wait forever to upshift.

This happens in every gear.

It seems to be getting worse. Just flushed ATF thinking that'd help, didn't drop pan for filter change. Could the filter be restricted starving the valvebody for juice, causing this problem?

Thoughts?
