Rough running B18 444-544

I've had a LOT of trouble pulling OEM lifters up and out. Aftermarket STEEL lifters don't seem
to have this problem but OEM lifters get a ridge around the bottom (in addition to oil residue)
that can make them very hard (or impossible) to pull.
That is why my B30s have a few lifters in the pan, and one B30 was wiped out by the repercussions
when one lifter didn't make it all the way to the pan and got hit by #2 rod bearing cap bolt/nut.
It was in the process of trying to throw the rod when the engine gave out in San Simón, Arizona.
