Pesk Positive Terminal Battery Corrosion 700 1989

I started getting a lot of corrosion on the positive battery clamp. First step was to clean the clamps/posts with a baking soda and water solution and get off as much as I could. The corrosion came back very quickly, so I figured there was enough leakage around the battery post to cause the problem. I bought a new battery, cleaned the connections extremely well, but now see a little corrosion around the clamp again. I did coat all the clamps/posts with white lithium grease, which has worked for me for years. Any other ideas as to what could be the cause?

Thanks!
