Fix it or part it? 120-130

Without knowing anything else about the car, like the presence or absence of the dreaded rust in all the usual places, it's hard to advise. My inclination, however, would be to fix it. I'm sure with the help of the SoCal 122 community you can get the necessary parts for less than $1000.
The first thing I would do while you're head scratching on this, is to get your garden hose out and wash away all the battery acid before it devours the right hand side of the engine compartment.
