No1 injector is not firing: not a faulty injector - I swapped the injector around and it works fine on the other cylinders, and an injector working on any other cylinder will not fire on No1. I didn't do an actual spray test, but determined which injector wasn't firing by disconnecting them one-at-a-time to see which one didn't change the already lumpy idle.

Compression on that cylinder is 155lbs - not great, but not too bad for 260K miles. Pressure bleed down is slow. Spark is good. That pretty much eliminates everything but the wires and the ECU, as far as I can figure. So, I went on the check the wires involved for continuity.

Ground on #26 wire at the plug is good, and #3 wire has good continuity from injector connector to ECU connector.

That leaves the ECU, but before I go hunting for a replacement, or convert to SUs, I would like to know if I have missed any fault finding procedures, or if anyone has a clue as to what else may be going on.

Thanks,

Bob S.
